    The Linesmen on this game
guest 82.36.219.200 - 14-Apr-13 05:43 Another farcical display in the Arsenal Norwich game. Failed to spot the foul on Snodgrass which led to the goal kick he bizarrely awarded as a corner. Eagle eyed lino then spotted a penalty that wasn t and over-ruled the refs decision despite ref being 1/4 distance and unlike West clear sighted. Failed to spot ball going out of play for throw ins on at least two occasions, Bassongs shirt being pulled for second Arsenal goal then sucker punched Norwich by apparently not seeing the foul from behind in the air as ball flicked onto to Walcott who was 2 yards offside at the time despite this all happening under his nose. Dreadful official and when running the line with Joker Jones in the middle a nailed on certain win for the big team. We need these people out of top level football, I have never seen such poor and blatantly wrong officiating. A poor Arsenal side were gifted three points .....

Match fixer ( GBHertford ) - 15-Apr-13 04:10 Fully agree with previous comment how he spots a pull on giroud through a out 3-5 players from 45yarsa but prior to that fails to realise that it was 100% a goal kick & not a corner to then not seeing a foul as the ball was passed to Walcott & the FACT that he was 100% offside by 2yards I just don t understand how this can be at this level? Does Richard west have selective eyesight? Or has he just been paid off because I believe the latter is more possible! The BPL is becoming an inconsistent & diabolical joke! If this continues I believe the BPL will crumble into an amateur & comedic league-fair play where?

David Borthwick ( GBBirmingham ) - 15-Apr-13 17:58 Post of 07/03/12 is most enlightening particularly when considering the Officials performance at The Emirates Stadium on 13/04/2013. He made three complete mistakes that cost Norwich City the game. He was without question a disgrace to the game no wonder people have little or no respect for many football Officials.

guest 86.168.173.137 - 16-Apr-13 16:58 They were bad decisions. IMO he didn t make a mistake but was intentionally helping Arsenal. With time running out he rather clumsily had to show his hand. With a £20-50 Million Champions league spot in the balance is it far fetched to think that a poorly paid official might take a bribe. Not really IMO. How would you know? By observing the travesty unfold! Investigation required
