Is Amorim The Man To Get Manchester Finally United

The sacking of Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag had long been in the making, and there were certainly those in the wider world of football who were amazed to see the Dutch 54 year old last this long at Old Trafford given the general direction of performances and results after what was, a far more impressive first campaign in charge.

With him having received his marching orders the other day, Sporting Lisbon boss Ruben Amorim quickly established himself as a firm favourite on the media rumour mill, and it is fair to say that fans of the Red Devil's were probably far more pleased to hear his name than some of the previous candidates linked with a move to Manchester - such as former England manager Gareth Southgate.

You should research what bonus hunting is, what can you do and what casinos deem as banned moves before you create an extended betting plan for the next big football championship. Adela Mariuta from CasinoAlpha goes on to explain that such startegies are often seen in the billion-dollar casino bonus industry.

Whilst United are yet to comment on the accuracy of the speculation linking them with the 39 year old highly rated coach, Sporting have gone public on talks being held, and they have confirmed that United are willing to pay the 10 million Euro release fee that they hold on the man who has taken them to two Portuguese league titles, including their first in 19 years.

Fans should however remain patient. Whilst Sporting's confirmation would be a strange event in the Premier League, it is part of the Portuguese system and the statement released was for the benefit of their own financial regulator, the CMVM.

Amorim's stock has risen in the game quickly based on his success though as he only joined Sporting back in 2020, but there will certainly be those who question if he boasts the necessary experience to take on what is a monumental job at the club. Like those who came before him, and ultimately failed, it is not only the unwise historical expectations that continue to surround United, the entire club needs a rebuild from top to bottom to redefine what they actually stand for, and what their over all playing ethos actually is.

Having lurched and fumbled since the glory days of Sir Alex Ferguson, attempts at quick fixes have simply seen them fall further behind other rival sides, and that is despite the incredible amount of money they have spent on captures - but they have largely been captures that did not have a natural place in their starting XI, incredibly over priced in any event, and for players who were a managers direct choice - the managerial merry- go-round counts against them on that front as well.

Despite their players, the experience and track record of managers, United are yet to find a formula that works, and there is nothing in Amorim's history that suggests he could buck the trend. In fact, almost everything in his history implies he is absolutely the wrong fit for the club as they have an overload of wingers and No 10s, but he prefers a system utilising three at the back.

His style would also carry significant team selection questions, and no doubt, ramifications for some well paid, and big money investments, who would be left without a starting place, or even a substitute role.

For a club already making significant financial cut backs, Amorim's compensation would not be the only expenditure associated with his appointment.
