With around a quarter of the Premier League season left to go, the race for the 2024/25 title is hotting up.
Liverpool currently hold the top spot, and having played 28 games as of writing, they don’t look like they’ll be letting go of the trophy any time soon. They have just 10 games to play of the campaign, and with a 13-point advantage over Arsenal in second (having played a game more), it’s difficult to see them slip up multiple times.
Indeed, it’s not something that many who bet on the league will be expecting to happen. The Premier League is a global betting attraction and one that interests fans from all over the world, with many using the Betway app to access the odds and markets available to use. The Gunners have their own problems, which makes them an unlikely challenger. They don’t have a striker available at the moment, which has had an impact on goalscoring. They’ve not been able to score in their last two EPL games (home to West Ham and away at Nottingham Forest).
With no forward able to put the ball into the back of the net, Mikel Arteta’s side are unlikely to be in the race for the 2024/25 Premier League title that much longer.
How will the 2024/25 Premier League season finish?
At this present time, it would be impossible not to think that Liverpool will be crowned Premier League champions in Arne Slot’s first season in charge at Anfield.
Everything has worked out for them in a way that many didn’t predict they would following the departure of Jurgen Klopp last season, with players like Salah performing to an incredible level and continually showing his class.
Of course, while it’s still mathematically possible for Arsenal to do so, it would seem the title chase is all but over, and the inevitable is simply just being prolonged. However, as the cliche goes, never say never, especially when it comes to football.
